Why this outcome matters for those considering Objective ECM

Agencies are encouraged from the Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) and the Government Chief Information Security Officer (GCISO) to purchase from the ICT Common Capability Panel. This guidance applies to public service departments, district health boards (DHBs) and some crown entities. Purchasing from the ICT Common Capability Panel offers a few benefits:

1. Secure information management

Organisations who are interested in purchasing Objective ECM can now rest assured that the platform is ranked under the highest security assurance and endorsement Tier 2. In order to achieve Tier 2, suppliers have to provide detailed information which is reviewed and confirmed appropriate by the GCDO before the endorsement is issued.

2. Simplify the purchasing process

By being on the panel, procurement is simplified and more efficient. Government agencies are able to browse relevant catalogues when they want to buy specific products or services.

Objective is one of only a few approved suppliers for content services Tier 2, which narrows down the decision-making process – especially with a Content Services that has a Tier 2 security rating.

Additionally, Marketplace New Zealand offers the following benefits to government agencies that require services and products:

    • Purchasing process is simplified and much quicker
    • Less time is spent on procurement
    • Internal costs are reduced
    • It’s easy to view, compare and select services on offer to find what best suits your needs and budget in one online session
    • Joining Marketplace as an agency requires a single registration process — you don't have to register again to view other Objective catalogues
