Objective Connect uses the Objective Connect Link to create a secure connection with an on-premise content management system.

Using Objective Connect Link you can easily share files in a secure manner—directly from your on-premise content information systems, across multiple government and non-government organisations.

Once shared, the information from a content management system is ‘kept in sync’ with Objective Connect. Similarly, connections created through Objective Connect are synchronised with the on-premise system, maintaining a single source of truth, and ensuring that Participants are accessing the most recent version of documents.

Objective Connect Link allows the CIO or Information Manager to set policies on the type of information that can be shared and the organisations that information can be shared with. Further, it also allows on-premise ECM users to control the expiry and access type for each individual Share they create.
