Objective showcases customer excellence with its annual Innovation Awards

22.11.2018

Objective Corporation (ASX:OCL) a leader in public sector content, collaboration and process management solutions, showcased customer excellence at its annual Innovation Awards yesterday. Celebrating those that have embraced the spirit of innovation, the Awards recognise the achievements of customers that have transformed operations and achieved success across four key categories: Information Governance; Process Governance; Collaboration and the Microsoft Award for Excellence.

Tony Walls, CEO of Objective Corporation, announced the winners via a live broadcast event, as part of Collaborate on Tour 2018, Objective’s annual customer conference which was delivered in a roadshow style format for the first time.

“We are very impressed by the calibre of nominations received this year highlighting the new and innovative ways that our customers are driving significant business transformation and achieving success with their Objective solutions. We are proud to showcase the many ways our customers are putting information to work and ultimately deliver outstanding services to the communities they serve,” said Walls.

The winners of the 2018 Objective Innovation Awards were announced as follows:

Courts Admin Authority was the winner of the Information Governance Award thanks to the automation of their Youth Justice Circuit Information management program. Already using Objective ECM, it became the pivotal tool supporting massive change in practice in the Youth Court (following three new legislative changes). The initiative has improved overall efficiency of the core services delivered by the Youth Court to the community, initiating more than 1200 case files in the first six months of implementation. It has virtually eliminated printing of documents, enables real transparency of documentation and decision-making which has improved communication within teams and beyond.

The Process Governance Award was won by the Tertiary Education Commission for their new Fees Free government policy. By using Objective Workflow and integration with their CRM and website, they were able to quickly and easily process the thousands of statutory declarations received and update the learner records within the 2-day service level. This delivered greater efficiencies by digitising the information management process and integrating workflow, enabling the Tertiary Education Commission to greatly improve service delivery.

Middlesbrough Council in the UK was awarded the Collaboration Award in recognition of their use of Objective Connect to collaborate with child welfare authorities and the Police on critical missing children cases. There is a requirement to share important real-time information with multiple agencies securely to manage children’s welfare efficiently, particularly in cases where they go missing and teams need to respond quickly. Objective Connect has provided Middlesbrough Council with a 360-degree view of the child and secure, rapid communications, thanks to comprehensive information provided in the workspace which is accessible by the relevant stakeholders.

The Microsoft Award for Excellence, in recognition of the partnership between Microsoft and Objective, was awarded to the New Zealand Parliamentary Service thanks to their implementation of Power BI to improve visibility of information and deliver accurate reporting and analysis. As a result, the New Zealand Parliamentary Service now have a clear understanding of client practices and interactions which has helped deliver more efficient services levels to customers.

“We are delighted to showcase the outstanding achievements of our customers and contribute to their successful projects that deliver excellence in innovation.”
