The Greater Manchester joint Transport Team – a group representing ten local councils in the Manchester area, dedicated to constructing an integrated travel framework for residents – is using a system called Limehouse from Australian firm Objective Corporation.

Council CIO John Holley says that the adoption of Objective Corporation's community and collaboration applications was fast, with only two weeks from purchase to go-live, largely because there were no infrastructure costs or special skills required.

The council's Regeneration and Economic Development Service will implement the uCreate and uEngage applications to streamline the creation of policy documents and improve engagement with the public.

Since the purchase of Limehouse in early 2009, Objective CEO Tony Wall has been developing a strategy for the launch of Limehouse on the local market, and to continue its successful rollout in the UK and US.

With the DoscCorp integration, Objective users can assemble single pages, documents or multiple sets of documents from within the software while they work on them.
