Tony founded the company in 1987. Tony has extensive experience in the IT industry, has a Bachelor of Mathematics (Computing Science), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance (SIA) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Stephen Bool - General Manager, Global Services
Stephen was appointed General Manager Professional Services in February 2005 and moved into the Global Services role during the course of 2008 taking responsibility for Professional Services, the Client Executive Team, and Customer Support Globally. Stephen has over 20 years experience in the IT industry, primarily in consulting and IT professional services. He has acted in sales, project management, technical, and business consulting capacities in his journey to general management roles with SPL WorldGroup and WorldGroup Consulting. He joined Objective from PeopleSoft where he held the position of Regional Director of PeopleSoft Global Services Australia and New Zealand. He holds a BSc and MBA both from Macquarie University.
David Barnes - General Manager, Corporate Operations & Chief Financial Officer
David was appointed General Manager, Corporate Operations and Chief Financial Officer in September 2010. He has previous experience as a Company Secretary, is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Business. David has a significant track record in senior financial and operational positions in Australia and overseas including working for SAP as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for United Kingdom and then as Chief Operating Officer for SAP Europe, Middle East and Africa.
David Gordon - General Manager, Engineering
David was appointed General Manager Engineering in May 2006. He is responsible for leading the software engineering teams that develop and maintain the Objective product. With over 25 years experience in the software industry David has managed research and development teams at Nokia, American Express, Westpac, Sterling Software and led the $40m IT program to support the rollout of the 3G network at Optus.
Adrian Rudman - General Manager, Sales Asia Pacific
Adrian joined Objective in March 2000, and currently holds the role of General Manager, Sales Asia Pacific. He has been involved in the information management industry for over 20 years. His experience extends from sales and services management, software research & development management through to implementation team management. Adrian has extensive experience in the implementation of information management solutions in large corporate and government organisations.
Simon Etherington - General Manager, United Kingdom
Simon joined Objective in November 2009 with an extensive knowledge of the Public Sector and has over 20 years experience in the information technology industry. Simon joined Objective after a successful career of 11 years with SAP. During this time, he was instrumental in leading SAP's Public Sector business expansion in the UK and Ireland, tripling revenues over a three year period to make the Public Sector the largest UK division. As the Director of Public Sector and Utilities he also served on the executive board of SAP for United Kingdom and Ireland.
Jon Palin – General Manager, Product Management
Jon was appointed General Manager Product Management in November 2010. He joins Objective with over twenty years experience delivering innovative products and solutions to the Enterprise Content Management market both locally and globally. Jon has previously held senior roles at Information Builders Asia Pacific, Tower Technology and Vignette. Jon is responsible for leading the product management team to define, document, manage and evangelise Objective’s extensive range of products through all stages of the lifecycle.

Jordan was appointed General Manager, Global Marketing in July 2011. Jordan joins Objective from EMC Corporation where he spent the last four years working in Boston as Senior Director of Global Marketing Campaigns and prior to that as EMC's Marketing Director ANZ. Before joining EMC, Jordan was Senior Marketing Manager Asia Pacific at Adobe Systems. Jordan brings to Objective over 15 years experience in IT marketing and demonstrated success in enterprise solutions and retail product marketing in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific Region.
