Your users and groups can be defined from your identity management solution using our LDAP Synchroniser Xlink.

Individual objects can be secured, or their security will be inherited from the folder or file in which they reside. If a user places a document into a secured folder that document inherits the security of the folder – and all of this is transparent to the user.

Access to content and renditions of content can be managed separately, as can individual versions and sub-versions of content. Most of this can be configured to occur by default, so there are no demands placed on the user to make it happen. Ensuring only users with Edit privileges see real content and all others see only “renditions” provides the greatest level of security for your content.
