NSW Ministry of Transport selects Objective for enterprise content management

Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL), a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, today announced that the New South Wales Ministry of Transport has selected Objective to provide an enterprise content management (ECM) solution to enhance its process of managing Ministerial correspondence.

The Ministry is responsible for providing independent policy advice and allocating funding for the transport portfolio comprising rail, bus, ferries, taxi and tow truck services to the people of NSW. The Ministry also has a key regulatory role in bus, taxi and hire car industries along with managing bus and ferry contracts.

The Ministry is focused on providing efficient services to citizens, government stakeholders, customers and the Minister. It manages a large volume of ministerial correspondence that moves within the Ministry and between external agencies such as State Transit Authority and Sydney Ferries.

The first stage of the project will focus on deploying Objective to the Ministerial Coordination division for electronic Ministerial management. The ECM solution will then be rolled out across all organisational units.
