Objective selected by South Australian Government
Objective Corporation has been appointed to the newly established preferred supplier panel for Document and Records Management Systems (DRMS) across South Australian government. The panel has been established by the South Australian government in response to the enormous amount of government information that needs to be kept and to assist agencies meet government and international standards for recordkeeping. It is part of a broader strategy to improve document and records management across the South Australian government. Following exhaustive evaluation and testing of solutions available to South Australian government agencies, Objective met all of the panel's functional and technical requirements for document and record systems. "The South Australian public sector is an important market for Objective," said Mr Tony Walls, CEO Asia Pacific, Objective Corporation. Objective counts both the South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance and the Department of Premier and Cabinet as existing customers. Objective has a long track record in successfully delivering document and records management solutions to government, from small agencies, right through to whole of government implementations such as the whole of ACT Government and the Scottish Executive. "Not only does the Objective product comply with South Australian government requirements, but the depth of delivery and implementation experience Objective brings to South Australia will be of significant benefit to South Australian agencies. "Part of Objective's ongoing commitment to our customers is to ensure that our products comply with various state, national and international standards for document management and recordkeeping, as they emerge," said Mr Walls. Being appointed to the panel of the South Australian Government is another achievement for Objective Corporation. Objective is an approved supplier on the NSW Government panel contract: GSAS ITS 2323, Records and Information Management Systems. Its products have been certified against the Victorian Electronic Records Strategy (VERS) specification, the UK Public Record Office (UK PRO) and the US Department of Defence military records management standard, US DOD 5015.2-STD. -ends- |
