Objective included in BRW's Top 500 Public Companies list

Objective Corporation Limited (ASX:OCL) today announced it had entered the BRW Top 500 Public Companies list, for the first time, ranked at position 360.

Researched and compiled by IbisWorld and published in BRW magazine this week, the Top 500 list covers companies on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) with the largest market capitalisation, ranked according to net profit figures for the most recent half-year results.

"With more than 1600 companies listed on the ASX, it is enormously gratifying to be included in a group alongside some of Australia's largest and most successful companies," said Mr Walls, CEO Asia Pacific, Objective Corporation.

Of the 500 companies that made it into BRW's list, only 19 originated from the Software and Services industry sector. The sector, as a whole demonstrated outstanding growth with a rise of 80% in market capitalisation.

"The recovery in the sector, following the lean few years post 2000, is welcome, but also expected," said Mr Walls, "Quality companies in the sector, with sound business models, delivering real business benefits to their customers, were always going to bounce back," he said.

"Since listing on the ASX in 2000, Objective has featured in several fast-growth lists, commonly based on percentage revenue growth over defined periods," said Mr Walls, "To make it to the Top 500 Public Companies is a testament to the commitment and passion of the entire Objective team," said Mr Walls.
