Objective Corporation signs contract worth $10 million
with the Scottish Executive
Objective Corporation (ASX:OCL) today announced it had signed a major
contract with the Scottish Executive to deliver an electronic document
and records management (EDRM) solution for 5400 users. The contract extends for a period of 5 years and represents a minimum
value of approximately AUD $10 million. The Scottish Executive is the devolved government for Scotland, responsible
for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the citizens of Scotland.
It is comprised of 8 departments including: health, education, justice,
rural affairs, transport, social services, finance and corporate services.
It manages an annual budget of more than £20 billion. The contract covers the deployment of Objective's EDRM solution to 5400
users, across multiple agencies and departments. The solution will be
composed of 28 connected servers using Objective's multi-server technology.

About the Scottish Executive
The Scottish Executive is the devolved government for Scotland. The Scottish Executive manages an annual budget of more than £20
billion in the financial year 2002-2003 that is due to rise to almost
£26 billion in 2005-2006. The Executive was established in 1999, following the first elections
to the Scottish Parliament. It is a coalition between the Scottish Labour
Party and the Scottish Liberal Democrat Party. The Executive is led by a First Minister who is nominated by the Parliament
and in turn appoints the other Scottish Ministers who make up the Cabinet. Executive civil servants are accountable to Scottish Ministers, who are
