Objective wins Australian Broadcasting Authority

Sydney, AUSTRALIA --- Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL), Australia's leading provider of knowledge and process management solutions, today announced a new contract with The Australian Broadcasting Authority (ABA).

As part of the ABA's Information Management System (AIMS) project, Objective's knowledge management software will provide the organisation with an enterprise wide information management system.

The information management solution will combine an ever-increasing amount of structured and unstructured data from a number of information areas including corporate records about Pay TV licenses, commercial and service licenses, subscriptions, complaints and their subsequent investigations, statistical and financial data and kids classification registry, into a single integrated system.

"The contract underlines the growing recognition that information management and corporate record keeping is an area of immense importance and value to government agencies. Objective has proven itself time and time again to be delivering results for governments who are consolidating information management systems and positioning for Government Online," said Tony Walls, CEO Asia Pacific, Objective Corporation.

The implementation of the core Objective records and information management solution is expected to take eight weeks to complete. Implementation of all components of the AIMS system will be finalised by December 2001.
