Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL), a leading enterprise knowledge management
software company, today announced the certification of its record management
application by the US Department of Defence. Objective products have been certified in accordance with the United
States military specification US DOD 5015.2 STD. This specification defines
exhaustive requirements based on operational, legislative and legal needs
that must be met by Record Management Application that are acquired by
the US Department of Defence. Tony Walls, CEO Asia Pacific for Objective Corporation said this is a
significant milestone for Objective. "The achievement of this certification has been two years in the
planning and is crucial to winning contracts in the US Department of Defence
and US Government markets. "It is also a critical step in cementing our mission to become the
leading supplier globally for enterprise knowledge management in the government
arena. It will significantly raise the profile of Objective Corporation
globally and especially in the US," Mr Walls said. The US Department of Defence personnel carried out exhaustive testing
on the Objective product suite. They were highly impressed with the breadth
and depth of the Objective solution and the overall professionalism of
the Objective organisation. Significantly, the certification process involved
Objective further demonstrating all 18 optional features of the DOD 5015.2
STD The certification also adds further credibility to the company's product
suite since its selection by the Australian Department of Defence as it's
