Attracting and Retaining Employees in WA, retaining our corporate knowledge base in our people
A panel of speakers will discuss the impact of current resourcing issues on information services delivery and present options to manage them. If you are involved in managing staff or responsible for outputs in your organisation – this is the event for you.
The unemployment rate within Western Australia at present is almost the lowest on record. Many employers are struggling to attract and retain quality staff as the Western Australian mining boom continues to drain the shrinking pool of available resources. This will be further exasperated by the retirement of “baby-boomers”.
Guest speakers include:
- Steve Barton, Lecturer, Murdoch University
Manager, City of Mandurah
- Haydn Bell,
State Manager - WA
Ambit Recruitment
- Neil Whiteley,
Information Management Manager
Tourism Western Australia
